This workshop will run from 1-4pm, Sunday 17th June. You can arrive at any point are welcome to stay the whole time (best seats go early though!).

When purchasing, please select the base size tile you want along with any additonal same size tiles at the lower price. Each person attending the workshop must have purchased one base tile each.

Drawing and painting can be daunting at first so I reccomend bringing any sketches, ideas or designs you like along to the session for inspiration. If you would like to trace your image onto the tile, bring a small print matching the tile size.

Lark Lane Throwing Workshop
£65.00

In this taster workshop, you will learn the basics of pottery, focusing on small wheel-thrown pieces, including handless cups, trinket dishes, and bowls. You will then choose a colour you want your pieces to be from our in-house selection of glazes.

Make up to 2-3 pieces, which will be trimmed and then fired in our kilns twice. Pots will be ready to collect 4-5 weeks later.

This workshop has a maximum capacity of 3 electric wheels and two kick wheels and lasts for 2h 30. This workshop can be messy! Please wear old clothes and allow 20 minutes at the end for clean-up and selecting your desired glaze for your pot.

Reccomended for ages 8 and over.

Standing kick wheels offer a traditional pottery experience and give you more control over your speed. It is a full body experience with your legs pushing the pedal to work harmoniously with your hands.

Electric wheels can be more convenient for long pottery sessions or for people with physical limitations.

If you already have a voucher and are interested in one of these dates, please email me directly stating the name of who booked the voucher and I can book the session for you directly. hardmanceramics@gmail.com
